We spoke to Natalia Zobel, among the 3 co-founders of Lanai, to find out more about the collaboration:
What made you decide to collaborate with Domesticity on entertaining pieces for the home?
For the collection, we were looking to develop home accessories with a local brand, specific for dining and entertaining at home. Being Filipino, we love to invite family and friends over to share great conversations, laughter, and of course, a sumptuous meal. So we knew we needed to create a line for dining and entertaining . We wanted to work with Domesticity as they have beautiful wooden pieces with an elegant simple style to make our vision come through.

Can you describe your style of entertaining at home?
When we entertain at home, we try to create an environment which is easy and comfortable. Nothing too stuffy or formal. And we usually invite only our closest friends and family, sharing a feast of comfort food. We also make sure to create a relaxing but vibrant atmosphere with tropical flowers.
Which is your favorite Domesticity x Lanai piece?
I love all of them! But if I were to choose just one, my favorite would have to be the Lila Chips and Dips Set! Firstly because it is just so pretty, but definitely because I'm a "saucy" girl with my food. Filipino food always needs sauce! This set makes entertaining chic and practical.
